I am also stuck on what changes to make to effect the desired change. Here's the problem: I have a button next to a progress bar. They look like this: ____ | | ------ | | | | | ------ ---- The height of the progress bar is less than the height of the button. In Gnome, they line up -- and that's what I want. When I request a greater height for the progress bar in GTK, the buttons get higher too. It seems that there is an invisible space above and below the progress bar. I assume that it is set in gtkrc somehow.
