I've tried. Nope, it does absolutely nothing. Could you please describe what exactly it should do? Restart whole `hildon-desktop` binary? As I can see after "/etc/init.d/hildon-desktop stop" the process is still running. What is the right sequence of removing/copying .desktop/.so files and launching the script?
