It will allow you to compile the applications that have been released as
open source on the N800 inside the VM scratchbox, and run them via Xephyr,
also inside the VM. You can run and debug your console and GUI applications
with CPU transparency.

The point of the appliance is to allow people running windows and those a
little unsure or not wanting to tackle the installation of all the
components on their machines to get up and running fairly painlessly.
