Thanks Andrew. You are right, they are two separate, but related, things. Multi touch make possible or easier some gestures, are rotate an object, or pick its corners to resize it.

This is not supported by the hardware of the 770 or N800 (AFAICT) so changing the software won't do any good. Gestures, however, are supported - for example the up stroke on the virtual keyboard to invert case.
