Anybody can explain why flasher utility isn't open source?
I think flasher utility is a basic tool for n770 platform,
and I don't understand it.

I consider it a bug that there's no flasher-2.0.macosx, however:

Other flashers than the linux one was never supported by the team. We
received the macosx and the linux_ppc versions as contributions from
maemo developers inside Nokia. I have asked for newer versions before
the beta went out and I received the macosx version from Onne (many
thanks again!), but forgot to publish it, shame on me.

Pls note that this version was not officially tested by us, or Nokia.
