Agreed. Also, the election has to be held after 6 months, and it seems only fair to have the new council in place for the summit. As the current council is in charge of deciding sponsorships, we'll apply some intelligence in deciding if nominees get sponsorship if requested. Given the council is effectively the community choosing the people to represent it, the people chosen are almost certainly going to be existing well-known members of the community with a track record of helping, facilitating and being active. One'd imagine that such people should be sponsored either way!
