Hi all, As agreed next week, we're going to roll out the new logo before August 14th (I'll still be around the 15th, but it'd be better not to do it a Friday in case there's any issues).
After some consultation with Jussi, the final version of the logo is attached. We also have .ai and .svg vector versions. Next step is to roll out the new logo, remove the old by-lines we were using, and deploy! All in all, shouldn't take too long. Here's the plan that Quim outlined, which looks good to me: - New logo in substitution of deprecated "maemo - code in your hands" in the header of all *.maemo.org pages. - Ferenc/Niels Guys, let me know what resolutions you need for the logo, and I'll take care of rendering them. - "open source development for internet tablets" simply out. - Ferenc/Niels - New banner in the top of the right column says something like "Learn about Maemo" and links to http://maemo.org/intro/platform/ - Jussi to design the banner, Ferenc/Niels to implement it. Jussi, Quim, what exactly were ye thinking of for this? Do you think you could have a proposal in the next couple of days? - http://maemo.org/intro/platform/ gets a just bit more of love.
