Its called Scan Code. That should open Code Scanner? Will play with that again.

Hi E.T.
OK, so it sounds like you are trying to use the Camera app to scan the code?
Try using the Code Scanner app instead. This is installed on iPhones by
default. The easiest way to get to it is probably to ask Siri: open Code
Scanner. Alternatively, the widget in Control Centre will open the Code Scanner
app.
The code needs to be scanned using the back camera. I find the easiest way to
do it is to make the camera touch the surface where the code is located, then
slowly pull back. Once you are a couple of inches or so away, the camera will
be able to see all the code and the code should scan automatically.
HTH,
Matthew

Had a sighted person with me. She is not familiar with the iPhone.
She told me where the
QR code was on the washing machine. My iPhone did not see it. It may be missing
a step but am sure the camera has this option enabled. Its been ages since I
last scanned a QR code.

Hi,
I believe it works the same way in 26.4 as it always did! Where abouts are you
getting stuck?

Hello,
How does this work in iOS 26.4 version now? I tried doing this today but
had no luck. Scan QR Code is in the control center.
