Lol no, it’s not a helpful answer, but it’s definitely a true one. It certainly is annoying.
Interesting that you have the problem also when airplane to your HomePod. I haven’t noticed that, but about the only time I do that is when I’m playing an Apple fitness workout, and in that case I’m not doing much with my iPad, so I’m not sure I would notice. Maybe I’ll write this up and send it into Apple accessibility and see if they have anything to say, or can at least send it in as a bug that needs to be fixed.
