Regarding the mirrors- I know of no reason the iMac would be using a different
set of mirrors than the MacBook. When using the MacBook on the evening of the
17th and subsequently additional attempts on the following day, the Fetch phase
went through the entire list of mirrors before Port Upgrade gave up. Each time
the fetch hung at 99%. Later a manual port fetch reported 99.9%. It was as if
the final handshake was never acknowledged (or something like that!).
Unfortunately, I didn’t pay attention to the byte count.
Thanks,
Stan
