ardour2 is in macports. The site for the binary version demands money for the Mac OS X working version (or you get a demo that doesn't save anything). Considering that I currently have $1.38 to last until my next disability payment in March, that's not going to happen, but I doubt that would matter to anyone but me....after all, why should it? And its build just failed: "Error: org.macports.build for port ardour2 returned: command execution failed" What is it with all of this stuff failing...... This is beyond absurd. So I'm right back to waiting for ideas on what's (probably) going wrong and how to fix it.
