I got from this list, since subcribing to it about half a year ago.
Alas, I can't help you with your problem. You might try upgrading to
OE 5.06
which is the last version which runs under Mac OS 9.0. I'm using it
with Mac
OS 8.6 and I haven't encountered the problem you describe (yet).
