Hi, Thanks! Hehe I tried doing the 1000 messages at a time and managed to crash OS 9.2 something about "address error" in Finder. AFter about 5 reboot attempts, I finally got the system up and running. I did try one (forgot the name) but it only did 15 messages before it quit. It wanted me to buy the shareware to do the rest. I am leary of shelling out $20-$30 for something I don't know works (call me cheap). I looked at emessage but when I tried to run it needed another shareware package. AND it wasn't (to me anyway) well documented.. There seems to be a few windows products out there that does this, I am surprised that there aren't more MAC ones. One of the "issues" that concerns me is that these packages seem to offer the ability to archive but not to retrieve the messages from the archive. I would like to get the messages back in case I do need to. While I did not read nextensively the doc I didn't see information about how to retrieve the messages from the archive.
