I also wondered about this. Specifically during an abortive attempt to manage a (long) list of addresses, some included in the address book, in a mail group in an OE address book. The only way I found to do anything with multiple addresses is to individually copy and paste. The duplicate command might have helped but...
If I export contacts, the best I seem to be able to get is a tabbed list of all contacts, ignoring the groups. Has anyone had any luck at copying, exporting or otherwise managing groups on their own? I'm really not looking forward to the individual copy, paste routine for such a long list (300+ and growing) I hope, one day, to move this mess into filemaker pro and whip it into shape.
