I was looking at what is in my mill setup.sh and what is in a setup.sh Frederic Ribble sent me for his lathe on the BBB. Notice one uses P8.12 and the other P8_12
P8.12 out # gpio1.12 X_Step P8_12 out # X Step / DB25.2 I suspect either will work but is there a preferred method? Searching with "BBB setup.sh machinekit" doesn't provide any hits that make sense.
