Hi all, I am newbie to Machinekit and I like the idea building something on top of the BBB. I encounter the problem that I do not know which break-out board to use with BBB.
There are some suggestions on this site: http://blog.machinekit.io/p/hardware-capes.html . Don not get me wrong, but this website seems to be little outdated because the e-shop threads either do not exist anymore or there are out of stock. This is a similar thread https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/machinekit/DvIu5gJ7RV8 , but this was 5 years ago so I would like to ask if things stepped a bit further. I am looking for the breakout board for a bit bigger CNC mill, powered by nema23 type of stepper, so I would rather not use Pololu drivers but I would like to connect it to some off board drivers. Is there any breakout board or solution you would recommend? I personally like bbb_parport solution for interfacing it with DB25 port, but they seemed to ran out of stock.
