I think i will not use an RTOS on the micrcontroller, since it does not 
help in solving the problem of the communication with the RPi.

I will look more to giving a general solution, even if my first 
implementation will be made only on a specific controller...

I know the evaluation board of atsame54 is more expensive than others, but 
here is included the price of the Microchip support, that is very useful 
for problem with low level programming and hardware 

I have tried some ST boards, but the ones I used have voltage problem 
dealing with an SD (they worked at 1.8volt and it is not enough, I think)
