You certainly can if you want. It's an open design and everything you need should be online. I'm using a motley assortment of boards, including a few versions of the BeBoPr, several versions/prototypes of the CRAMPS board, with a few other odds & ends lying around (K9, Fastbot BPP, Replicape, etc).
