The build instructions on the wiki were written at a time when the parallel build was smooth and we had enough proof for this on both Intel and PPC Mac. Nowerdays most devs have Intel Macs and so the lone guarenty is that parallel build on Intel Mac, at least for me with -P2, is stable and no build breaks occure. If some build breaks occure most of the time they are issues or caused by me :-) > I'm doing a clean pull right now, and will try to build again, > but will replace P4 with P2 [I'm going to keep a virgin copy of > the pull this time]. As stated we don't have many builders for PPC left. I only know Maho and Christian Lohmaier also building on PPC. Maybe they can give you some advice? I would also suggest that you first do a single threaded build with just dmake in source root. This is the common way of build. If this build is ok you can start with parallel building.
