Hi,

It sounds like you are trying to use these devices to REPLACE the normal keyboard. What would happen if you left the regular keyboard attached and just daisy-chained the new devices? I realize that's not what you were asking for, but it's all I could think of. Good luck!

Actually I haven't tried that part - they are still both hooked up. I didn't try to press the regular buttons. How could it possibly figure out what device it's supposed to be then?
