Sympatico has no download limit with the exception of their basic HS pkg.

I beg to differ.

My bro routinely sends me messages that exceed 7 Mb in size. (We were referring to email after all weren't we?) They all get bounced back to him. I am with sympatico, he is not. My mail program was set to retrieve mail every minute, but I often found that it would have this window appear stating that Sympatico rejected my username and password for my mail account. It has only happened to one account at a time (I have 3 mail accounts). I switched it to check every 5 minutes and for the longest time have had no interruption in retrieving mail.

When I spoke to the tech support they told me that Sympatico has now switched to MSN to handle ALL of Sympatico mail. I am extremely opposed to this as I feel MSN is nothing more than a thieving bunch of lunatics. (IMHO of course) I am currently seeking an alternative and expect that I will be switching sometime in the near future.
