Hi Brian,

I picked up the router today but could not remember at the store whether you had said G was better/faster than B or vice versa so got the G. argghhh....

Not sure if I should take it back and exchange it for the B ? It was on sale for $69.99 with an additional mail in rebate for $20.00. I basically just want to have access to my cable internet connection throughout my place. Don't really need to print or anything remotely.

49.99 for a g isn't bad at all. It'll give you room to grow anyway. B is now outdated but fine for what you want, so G is fine for a year or so as there is a new spec coming out, 802.11n. Keep it is my suggestion. That way you can get it up and running sooner! Let me know if you need help.
