Does anyone on the list have an old Apple IIe card for an LC-series Mac?

Looking on eBay etc didn't turn anything up. Obviously I don't want to
spend much for this piece of history.

Any thoughts would be great

There used to be a way to transfer the files using a piece of shareware that would work on a pc. I was doing a transfer for a client from a IIc to a pc and worked it all out using a pc 5 1/4 drive. This was before I got into Macs, other than really old ones.

As I recall, the drive didn't matter as long as it was a 5 1/4, the software somehow worked it's way into reading the old files. Now, this may not have worked for your DB stuff but it certainly would with the text stuff. I'm sorting out my cd collection now, if I find any of the stuff I will email you but in the meantime, maybe google a lot until you find it. IIRC the trial version would let you do a certain amount of transfers, so you could see if it worked before you bought the program.
