I'd have to disagree. I'm on a Linux list and a lot of them are very
impressed by this move. More than a couple have said they're going to buy
one for a family member/friend, then hope to convince them to install
Linux later on.

And remember, the vast majority of these guys are pretty Intel-centric.

Cooling issues? Perhaps, but the design team *does* have a track record in
that department.
