Open Terminal

Type sudo rm -r, followed by an empty space

Switch to the finder, and drag the item you want to delete onto the terminal
window and it should fill in the path to the item. (You could type the path
manually, but I think this is easier)

Press return.

Enter your pass word as requested.

File should be gone.
