Microsoft Office X, however, can only be run on one machine at any given time, for machines connected to the internet, if you install it with the same name and/or same code. I found this out while trying to open PowerPoint or somethng on my desktop at the same time I had Word running on my laptop, and it wouldn't let me open it.
