Am running an 800 Mhz iBook, and recently , have found most of the CD Roms I want to put in the CD drive, don't fit.
it is almost as if the spindle in the middle is too large. Have taken a pen knife and taken a sliver off the inside of the centre hole to make the CD's Now I know these tthings are stamped out faster than cookies at a Tim Horton's however was wondering if this a universal problem. Have been using Fuji blanks CD's for a bit, no problem, had a chance to pick up some Verbatim discs at the local Business Depot to see if maybe it was the CD itself; they don't sit well either. Looked closely at the spindle and I can't see anything really "wrong"/ Anybody got any ideas, or is it just me <g> Bryce Lee, Burlington, Ontario Canada 800 Mhz iBook Power PC G3 OS 9.2.2 US Built-in Memory 640MB Disk Cache 8160K 27.94 GB HD/24.43 GB free -- Mac Canada is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
