this cannonical link is a redirector, resolving to one of the savannah
mirrors. after uploading new files to the master, it usually takes a
couple of hours until it arrives on the mirror nodes which is why
Antonio usually sends the announcements on the next day.
In fact I wait two days because one day does not seem to be enough for
all mirrors.
you can either pick an already updated node from the mirror list
(http://download.savannah.gnu.org/mirmon/savannah/) or you can wait a
bit and it will catch-up by itself.
Or if you are in a hurry, you may get it directly from Savannah at
http://download-mirror.savannah.gnu.org/releases/lzip/
.oO(also I just uploaded lzip 1.21-1 to debian, so it will be in the
repo in the next couple of hours (and in a few minutes on
incoming.debian.org).)
