The next Debian stable release is going to be named jessie and will be frozen on 5th of November. That means all packages inteded for jessie need to be in testing at that time. Currently, the versions in Debian are the following: clzip 1.6~rc1 lunzip 1.6 lzd 0.5 lzip 1.16~rc1 lziprecover 1.16~rc1 lzlib 1.16~rc2 pdlzip 1.5 plzip 1.2 zutils 1.3~pre2 Do you think you could release stable releases of clzip, lzip, lziprecover, lzlib and zutils until (at latest) mid of October, so we could upload them in time for jessie(they need 10d 'waiting period' before they migrate automatically from unstable to testing)?
