Hello Antonio, hello Linda, I am quite happy that lzip. It is a simple tool which does one thing, only that and that good. Before working with lzip I worked with gzip, whose API isn't half as good as the lzip one. I also had a look at xz/p7zip but was stuck in their complex setup. I hope that lzip remains a simple and tiny tool in the future without any fancy features otherwise available. BTW, from my point of view its the job of an achiever (such as tar) to add compression support to it, rather than the job of a compression software to add an achiever to it. Regards, Jacob
