Hi, I am a newbie in lyx and also latex.=20 I will decided to use them for my thesis work.=20 my institution forces a latex template ( this template is enclosed in = attachments as compressed file) which is mainly defined in metu.cls file.=20 I have created metu.layout and reconfigure the lyx (v 1.6.1 with miktex = 2.7.3248) and restart it. Then I tried to import thesis.tex but it seems this process(tex2lyx) = ends with a endless loop!!! I have waited for 2 hours, CPU usage is 100% but nothing happens..
do you have any suggestions? how can I debug this process? Semih Ozmen
