There are so many reasons NOT to use Google, you found one more :-) Fortunately, there are interesting alternatives, e.g. privacy-preserving meta search engines like SearXNG :
https://docs.searxng.org/ Find your instance (like https://gruble.de if you are close to Germany) in this list: https://searx.space/ For me, they work quite well with lynx. Greetings Sven
