clayborg added a comment. So this is a first pass on adding progress notifications to the LLDB public API, and to see how it would be used internally. If we can agree on the implementation, then I will add full tests and documentation to this diff. We used a similar patch to this in an older internal version of lldb-vscode before lldb-vscode was fully open sourced, so we know it works at a base level.
