zturner added a comment. If nobody on the Apple side is using CMake, then I'm still not clear why we need this. Everyone using CMake already will continue to work fine using dynamically generated bindings, right?
I still don't agree with the need for the static bindings in any configuration, but if it's entirely on the Xcode side then there's not much I can do about it.
