Thanks for the quick response. I don't know if I can use openRTSP because the video isn't RTSP. The audio is coming from rtsp://193.168.5.11:554/axis-media/media.amp. and the video from udp://@239.255.0.1:11841

Have you tried using “openRTSP” - rather than VLC - as a (front-end) RTSP client, to see whether or not both audio and video streams are actually being sent by your server?
