Hello all
I managed to build live555 on an ubuntu 16.04 box with the
linux-no-openssl configuration,
without a hitch
Also, it looks like it should be possible to build live555 on ubuntu
18.04, without a hitch too as someone published a way to do it in a
docker container there :

So, the issue I reported seems to be tied to ubuntu 20.04 (the latest
long term release).
Could someone give pointers as how to build live555 on ubuntu 20.04 ?
