If you have a media player that can take video input from ‘stdin’, then you could run “openRTSP” with the -v option; see http://live555.com/openRTSP/#basic and then pipe the ’stdout’ from “openRTSP" to the media player. Otherwise, you could use the “testRTSPClient” code as a base, and write your own media player application - by writing your own “MediaSink” subclass(es) to replace the “DummySink” class (and of course a lot more code to decode and display the incoming media). Or you could run one of the (probably several) existing open source media players that use the LIVE555 library to play RTSP/RTP streams.
