Thanks for the report.  I have just installed a new release of the code that 
moves all of the definitions of PREFIX to the “Makefile.head” files.

Nobody else has complained about EXE in “config.mingw” just being ’null’, but 
I’ve changed it to .exe in the latest release of the code.
