The “LIVE555 HLS Proxy” outputs files (HLS segments and a “.m3u8” ‘index’ file) into a file system directory (the directory from which the "LIVE555 HLS Proxy” command was run). The HTTP server needs to have access to that directory; in other words, clients of the HTTP server need to be able to access that directory (specifically, the “.m3u8” ‘index’ file) via a “http://“ or “https://“ URL.
