Yes, this is on the ’to do’ list, but I’ll do it only if there is a specific
(and useful) IETF-standard RTP payload format that needs it. I’m not going to
spend time support this just so people can use it for non-standard hacks that
won’t work with other code.
Ok, I understand your point of view.
Anyway, regarding the hacking with non-standard extensions, I would
expect that a (compliant) RTP client simply ignores any RTP header
extension which it does not support.
