I get endless error messages when I use the -T option, of the form:
(We use port 80 for optional RTSP-over-HTTP tunneling.)
...Connection to server failed: Connection refused
I don't understand a suggestion that I should not get an error if my http server is running before I try to start live555ProxyServer. My apache2 web server that is on the same machine as live555ProxyServer is always running, and I've configured it so it's only running on port 8000. Since it's using port 8000, how does live555ProxyServer use port 80, which it can do without difficulty ? I thought I would not want two servers to try to use the same port number. What do I need to do to use some other port number using the -T option so I do not need to recompile each time I want a different http port number ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

P.S. To answer your question about why all the sudden interest, I'd say it's just fate.
