Please don’t ask the same question more than once (and please use proper mailing list ‘netiquette’ and edit the “Subject:” line when you reply to a mailing list digest).
You managed to compile and build the “testProgs” (in the “live/testProgs” directory), and this worked OK. Then you made a copy of the code, in some other directory, and tried to build it in some other way, and it didn’t work. That’s not something that I can help you with, except to say that the error messages that you saw make the problem clear: You are not linking your application with the proper LIVE555 libraries (“libliveMedia.a”, “libgroupsock.a”, etc.).
