Thanks for your reply. We are using unmodified code. We want to send the
current play time in the play response to the player when the player sends
only the range end without specifying the range start in the Range Header.

 

Thanks for the note.  It turns out that our RTSP server implementation
wasn't handling this kind of "Range:" header properly.  I've just installed
a new version - 2014.01.29 - of the "LIVE555 Streaming Media" code that
fixes this.  It will set the 'current play time' as the start time in the
"PLAY" response.
