It would certainly be 'possible', but it would make an already complex program 
even more complex.  Remember that "openRTSP" is intended to be used by 
sophisticated users who know how to - if necessary - use shell scripts (or even 
customize the source code if necessary).

Yes.  I know of no reason why this won't work.

It *was* intended to, but I discovered that it currently doesn't work with the 
"-q", "-4", or "-i" options (i.e., for generating ".mov", ".mp4", or ".avi" 
files).  This will be fixed in the next release of the software.
