Subhankar, Thanks for the excellent work in tracking down this bug. I've now installed a new version - 2013.08.31 - of the code that includes your second suggested fix: " Moving ‘socketDescriptor->fAreInReadHandlerLoop = False;’ to bottom of ‘SocketDescriptor::tcpReadHandler()’".
