Hi,
If you are on a computer with multiple network cards, you probably just need to specify the interface to use to receive multicast traffic. Since you are using OpenRTSP you can specify the interface with the "-I" option: [-I <input-interface-ip-address>] Chris Richardson WTI From: live-devel-boun...@ns.live555.com [mailto:live-devel-boun...@ns.live555.com] On Behalf Of rundong qiu Sent: Tuesday, May 22, 2012 2:31 AM To: live-de...@ns.live555.com Subject: [Live-devel] Fail in receiving data from a IPcamera via multicast Good Afternoon! I am trying to get a H.264 stream using the "openRTSP" command-line client. The stream is come from a IP camera (that is the DM368IPNC, or, the TMDXIPCAM8127J3) via multicast, and my OS is Windows7. As a result, the RTSP protocol exchange works OK, but the client cannot receive data from the specified port(6032) of my PC, so the resulting data file(s) are empty. With the help of the "Wireshark", I am sure that the stream from a camera does arrive the specified port. And if I asked for the stream using the "VLC player", it can successfully receive the stream and play it. So, could you tell me what is wrong, or give me any advise? Thank you very much!
