Hello all, Tried to convert an h264 stream (available here: http://zvps.co/in.264) to a TS using the test program provided with live555 (testH264VideoToTransportStream).
Everything seems OK, but when I open the .ts in VLC I get quite severe artefacts. If I box up the stream into an MP4 file then I can play with Quicktime, which gives me very noticeable but slightly less severe artefacts. When creating the MP4, MP4Box gives me the warnings (which may or may not be significant): [MPEG-2 TS] PID 224 - same PTS 4707874055 for two consecutive PES packets [MPEG-2 TS] PID 224 - same DTS 4707874055 for two consecutive PES packets I should also add that the source .264 stream has been extracted from a .MOV file (recorded on iPhone), again using MP4Box. Any suggestions?
