The latest release (2012.04.21) of the "LIVE555 Streaming Media" software
includes a new application - the "LIVE555 Proxy Server" - which is documented
at:
        http://www.live555.com/proxyServer/

This server acts as a unicast RTSP 'proxy' for one or more back-end (unicast or
multicast) streams. It maintains a single connection to the back-end stream,
regardless of how many clients are streaming from the proxy. It is ideal, for
example, for streaming from a RTSP-enabled video camera (which might not be
able to handle more than one connection at a time).

The "LIVE555 Proxy Server" is build automatically in the "proxyServer"
subdirectory of the top-level "live" directory. It uses the new
"ProxyServerMediaSession" class. If you want to build your own RTSP 'proxy
server', you can use this class.
