Unfortunately I'm not fluent with C++ and it would take me way too much time to
figure out what to do with the code. I already managed to store the feed into a
file and transmit that file over to the RTSP server, but that's where my skills
end.

Fortunately managed to get this working using Darwin Streaming Server, although
I'd rather use live555, if possible.

Subject: Re: [Live-devel] Forwarding RTSP with live555 on demand

I have an AXIS IP-camera that can output either MJPEG or MPEG-4 stream over at
least RTSP. I was wondering if it's possible to use live555 on a server to read
the stream from the camera and then forward it over RTSP on demand?

This sort of thing (basically, RTSP proxying) is something that is often
requested. I think it should be possible with a little programming - by using
the output from a RTSP client as the input to a RTSP server - but it's not
something that's provided with the supplied code 'as is'.
