OK, I've now installed a new version (2011.12.20) of the code that fixes this problem. (The problem occurred only with commands - like "SET_PARAMETER" and "GET_PARAMETER" that have a "Content-Length:" header, and only when the entire command is not read at once - which is the case for RTP-over-TCP streams.)
